Culinary Collective was founded in 1998 by Pere Selles from Catalunya, Spain and Betsy Power from Salem, Massachusetts, who were passionate about increasing the selection and availability of high-quality Spanish and Peruvian foods, from small, regional producers. Pere and Betsy established the company on the basis of working only with producers rooted in and integral to the health of their communities to ensure products are all natural and fairly sourced.

Culinary Collective is an importer and distributor of specialty food products. We believe in sourcing and supporting foods that sustain:

• Health- our products are made with whole, real ingredients.
• Local economies- the companies we work with support local economies because they are owned by people in those communities and source their talent, ingredients, and other resources regionally.
• Authenticity- recipes and products are selected to showcase the best in regional food cultures.
• Responsibility- companies we work with have social, environmental, and financial practices that maximize local benefit and minimize environmental impacts through the elimination of chemicals and reduction in waste and resource consumption.
