These Caesar Salad Endive Spears with Sardines are a delightful and flavorful appetizer, perfect for your next party. A caesar salad in one bite, topped with the very finest bone-in and skin-on wild caught small sardines from Spain, hand-packed with Spanish olive oil and sweet piquillo peppers.
Caesar Salad Endive Spears with Sardines


Ingredients:
2 cups. romaine lettuce, shredded
2 tbsp. caesar dressing
2 each. endive, trimmed and portioned into spears
10 each. cherry tomatoes, quartered
1 each. tin (3 oz.) Matiz Wild Small Sardines, flaked
¼ cup. parmesan cheese, grated
¼ cup. croutons, crushed
2 tsp. lemon zest, chopped
Pinch of cracked black pepper
Instructions:
1. Place the shredded romaine in a medium bowl. Add the caesar dressing and toss to coat.
2. Place the endive spears on a serving platter.
3. Top each spear with the dressed romaine lettuce.
4. Top the dressed romaine with a cherry tomato quarter and a few hearty flakes of the sardines.
5. Sprinkle the spears with parmesan, crushed croutons, lemon zest, and black pepper before serving.
