Smoky Sardine Caprese Toasts

We merged caprese salad and bruschetta together into one easy and delicious option for lunch, our Smoky Sardine Caprese Toasts! The lightly smoked wild-caught sardines are well balanced by the fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. We just can’t get enough of this recipe!

Ingredients:

1 each. loaf garlic bread, cooked according to the instructions on the package
1 1⁄2 cups cherry tomatoes, chopped
1 cup fresh baby mozzarella
1⁄4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 tin (4.2oz.) Matiz Lightly Smoked Sardines in Olive Oil

Instructions:

1. Cut each half of the garlic bread into quarters.
2. Top the portioned garlic bread with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. Divide the smoked
sardines between the toasts before serving. (Optional-Drizzle toasts with some of the tin’s
olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper.)
