Arrope Sweet and Spicy Pork

Ingredients:

sweet and spicy marinade:
2 tablespoons Arvum Arrope Grape Must
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 teaspoons chili garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger, peeled and minced

1lb. pork shoulder, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup jasmine rice, cooked
1 carrot, peeled and julienne
1 cup cabbage, thinly shredded
1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup radish, thinly sliced or julienne
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds

garnish:
fresh cilantro and basil

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl whisk together the sweet and spicy marinade ingredients (grape must, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, chili garlic paste and ginger) until blended. Reserve a couple spoonfuls for drizzling over the finished dish.

2. Add pork to the bowl and toss until thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.

3. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium high heat. Add pork and sear until browned, 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.

4. Fill bowls with rice and top with carrot, cabbage, onion, radish and pork. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, drizzle with reserved marinade and garnish with cilantro and basil.
