Instructions:
1. Soak rice in cold water for 10 minutes, drain and rinse.
2. Fill a medium-sized pot with water, stir in rice and cover. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender, a little soupy and porridge-like.
3. Season porridge with a little salt and stir in cream (if you like your porridge a little runnier, add a little hot water as well), vanilla and maple syrup. If you like your porridge sweeter, feel free to adjust the sweetener to your liking.
