Marinated Olives with Sardines
This recipe for Marinated Olives with Sardines is an easy appetizer, packed with robust flavor and tantalizing aromatics. Pitted olives and Matiz Wild Sardines are seasoned with fresh garlic, fresh herbs, and citrus with delicious results. Best served with crostini for dipping and scooping.

Ingredients:

8 oz. mixed pitted olives
2 each. garlic cloves, peeled and thinly sliced
1 each. sprig fresh rosemary, leaves removed
1 each. sprig fresh thyme, leaves removed
1 tbsp. lemon peel, diced
1 tbsp. orange peel, diced
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. olive oil from the sardine tin
1 each. tin (4.2 oz) Matiz Wild Sardines, flaked
Crostini, for serving

Instructions:

1. Place olives, garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon peel, orange peel, oils, and sardines in a large bowl, gently stir to combine.
2. Transfer the marinated olives to a serving bowl and serve with crostini on the side.
